MUST DO!! Joe and Johnno were amazing guides, super fun and very knowledgeable about the history of queenstown // the surrounding mountains and towns. We got a perfect sunny day, you cannot beat the views!!!! Such a fun 3.5 hours. 100% worth every cent- add it to your list!

Our driver/ host was extremely knowledgeable and we had the best time learning about the region and going to places we had no idea existed. Panning for gold, visiting heritage sites, taking in the stunning scenery all while being chauffeured through the rugged hand forged roads was surreal. Highly recommend this tour

What a great way to spend an afternoon. This tour along Skippers Road was all that and more. Our tour guide Peter was very knowledgeable and a lot of fun. The scenery was stunning, the weather perfect, and the drop-offs hairy!!

The tour was pretty awesome, my partner and I loved it. Was a good taste of the longer version nomad safaris do. Our guide was cool, gave some knowledgeable facts about the sights we saw and a bit of history of the area - I believe his name was Rob. Cool as, we can’t wait to come back for the Lord of the Rings tour next time!

Me and my partner had the most awesome time roaming the mountains of Queenstown and highly recommend the quad bike experience. My wife and I had such a blast on the quad bike tour. Jono our guide was excellent with great banter and taught us how to traverse the quads on Queenstown hill. Amazing views with great technical off-road trails for our skill level. We loved it and would happily return in a winter season for another awesome experience. Cheers Jono!

Awesome Experience! Would highly recommend the Quad tour regardless of your skill level. Big thanks to Jono for being an excellent guide, showing me all the great views and advising me on some great 4wd tracks to tackle. Will definitely be back in the winter for a bit of mud and snow.

Had an amazing 4wd experience with our guide Jenny. Check your gender steriotypes at the door because our driver was amazing at her job and extremely infomative on the gold mining history of the track we were driving. After I got chatting to her she told me alot of the male passengers tend to not choose her because she was one of the few female drivers. I can tell you for a fact if you were one of these people you missed out. If you get the chance to take a tour with her you won't regret it. I have a little trouble with heights myself and felt in safe hands the whole time, while also getting the fun of a real 4wd experience over some of the nastier parts of the track, not lacking in adrenaline one bit. Moral of the story, in my opinnion Jenny needs a raise, and you need to go on a 4wd experience with nomad safaris if you get the chance, was an awesome adventure. Thanks again Jenny, all the best!

I highly recommend the trip to Macetown. Peter the driver/guide was friendly, down to earth, and very knowledgeable. This was my 3rd trip over a number of years with Nomad Safaris as the staff are really great to deal with.
