H.I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone hoping to take a comprehensive tour of NZ in a two week period. The itinerary included great activities and sights. Having Discover New Zealand book everything saved time and effort as well as give me peace of mind that all of the activities/accommodations were quality. The staff at Discover New Zealand were incredibly helpful and responsive. When I accidentally gave the wrong date of arrival, they were quick to make last minute changes so I could get back on track. I had a great time! A special thank you to Emma for setting up the tour for me.
D.Chelsea Lodge arranged a 9-day tour for us that met all of our requests. We started in Christchurch, spent a day there, took the scenic Transalpine train to Moana and back, went by train to Kaikoura, then by train and ferry to Wellington where we also spent a day before taking a train to Auckland, spent a day there, and then flew back to Los Angeles. She arranged lodgings for us each night with breakfasts included, and contracted for transportation to and from airports and train or ferry stations to and from our lodgings. She contracted for hop-on-hop-off tours at Christchurch, Wellington, and Waiheke Island near Auckland plus a visit to the Antarctic museum at Christchurch Airport and a three-course dinner at the Sky Tower Restaurant in Auckland--all paid for in a surprisingly low itinerary charge. This allowed us to see both the north and south islands and much beautiful scenery as well as to meet many friendly and helpful New Zealanders. We really appreciated her attention to detail and her expert knowledge of New Zealand and would recommend her to anyone wanting an individualized trip in this lovely island country.

R.Chelsea at Discover New Zealand organised a 12 day South Island Explorer and a 3 day Bay of Islands and Cape Reinga Tour, including all accommodation, car and pick ups and deliveries. It went without a hitch, we felt our time spent at each place was sufficient and the two trips went without a hitch. I would thoroughly recommend this Company if you are planning a trip to New Zealand. It is a beautiful country, with mind blowing scenery and provides top service for tourists.

J.From the very start we found Discover New Zealand to be an excellent company to work with when planning and booking our trip to NZ. After an initial fact finding phone call with Heather she drew up an itinary and plan for our time touring the Islands. We were able to add in our own travel arrangements to visit family whilst there and cover all of the sites, locations and experiences we wanted to see. In the build up to the holiday they kept in touch regularly and updated us on the need for new travel documents to visit NZ. All transfer arrangements were in place and on time as were all the accommodation bookings, hire car arrangements and holiday experiences. The quality of the hotels / B+Bs that were selected was spot on and we stayed at some really beautiful places.
A VERY big thank you goes to Shelley (Ryder) who took over from Heather in arranging the holiday and being our point of contact. She dealt with a few unexpected "emergencies", such as when the inter islander ferry broke down stranding us on the North Island, in her stride and was able to very quickly book us a flight which got us to where we needed to be on time but by a very different route. She also managed to sort out alternative travel and accommodation arrangements when our plans were disrupted due to heavy rainfall on the South Island. Without her calm and helpful approach and her assistance in sorting things out the holiday would have been a lot more stressful.
The holiday lived up to all of our expectations and when we return, which we are definitely going to do, we will have no hesitation in using Discover New Zealand again to help book and arrange our stay.
A 5 star company and Shelley is certainly a star.

C.Using Discover New Zealand (DNZ) was a great decision for us. We didn't know anything about New Zealand and we hate trying to pick hotels. DNZ helped us plan a great trip that was wonderfully active with built in relax days and reasonable amounts of driving. All the places we stayed were great and all the tours were awesome.
