Wow, what an incredible experience. All of the staff were awesome and very accommodating. Our group had special requirements and they worked with us and provided an experience we will all remember for the rest of our lives. They truly made the experience for us. Thanks Rich, Mark, and everyone else that helped make our trip happen!

Absolutely incredible experience, landing on the Tasman Glacier with our guide Rich. Who was just brilliant. My partner and I were filming a wee Profesional video and Rich took us to all for amazing places, ice caves. It was a bucket list moment for me and I can't wait to do it again..I'll take my parents !!

This is a must do! A bucket list worthy! We did the flight a month ago, this is a late review but still I wont missed the chance of giving them highly recommended post.. Thank you for your great and efficient service, I have truly enjoyed the magnificent view of Tasman Glaciers and all the other glaciers. My son had an amazing time as well, he is 9 years old and this is the trip he wont forget. We will surely do this again.

An amazing experience for our group with Mt. Cook Ski Planes. The team there were incredibly accommodating and very professional. The experience they provided for our group members was "unforgettable" and "inspiring" among many other comments, it really blew them away. I can't recommend Mt. Cook Ski Planes highly enough and look forward to another visit!

Our original booking was canceled due to poor weather but we were happy to get a flight the next day. Jason was great keeping in touch on the weather situation and it turned out to be perfect. We got a glacier landing and as a bonus Mark, our pilot did a flyby of an ice cave. He provided interesting commentary throughout the flight and chatted with everyone after landing. I'm sure our trip was longer than scheduled so we really got our money's worth

What a fabulous experience! We loved our Tasman Glacier ski day. The (adult) kids said it was one of their best days ever! The guides, Pete and Owen, were professional and ensured safety. Thanks, Inflite, for lifetime memories.

Outstanding company. I decided to splurge at the end of my two week camper trip. Went in to the airport on the day to see what was available. All heli trips were booked but they offered me a ski plane flight. Booked it and when I showed up later, they found a spare seat on a heli glacier landing flight instead. Very difficult experience to explain in words, so I'll just say it's worth every penny. Flying close to mountains, landing on the glacier in solitude. Andy even gives you a historical geology lesson flying over the glacier. Stop thinking about it and do it. If there's one kiwi business I found on my travels that deserves a post covid kick start, it's this one. Molly and Andy are fantastic people with insane local knowledge. I'll be back for a heli board down the longest ski run in NZ! Thanks so much guys.

The Franz Josef Glacier was on the bucket list for a while and we finally ticked it of this year. Inflight was just a treat to deal with. They're extremely friendly and professional. The pilot was very informative and gave us plenty of time on top of Franz Josef for some once in a lifetime pics. Most passengers (on the ski plane) also get a window seat so great chance to get some great pictures. They also have some great specials at the moment so definitely give them a bell directly. Would highly recommend these guys.

What a fantastic trip to do. Guide was very knowledgeable. We got so close to the mountain to take some fantastic pictures, would highly recommend doing if you are in the area. Be mindful of weather canceling your trip, they were really good and contacted us to see if we could do the flight a day early as bad weather was coming in.

Absolutely incredible views and really knowledgeable and enthusiastic pilot. We landed on the Tasman Glacier and had a look around and we loved it!

One of the best experiences you can ever do. Me and my wife absolutely loved it! The whole team was amazing including our pilot Mark, who was very informative, friendly and polite. Could not have asked for anything better than our heli flight around the mountains and glacier landing.

I would highly recommend jumping to everyone. The staff are super professional and dynamic; great facilities and gear. They make you feel welcome and safe. Great commentary from my jump instructor, Jono, all the way through, thanks for the fantastic experience!

This is a one off life experience. Taking the ski plane up on to the ice was simply fantastic. Our pilot, Morris, was exceptional and made us feel safe and relaxed. The close views of the glaciers and mountains and the experience of landing on the ice is a memory that will stay with you for a lifetime. It is costly but if you have got it then spend it on this adventure.

We took the "Grand Circle - 55min Ski Plane Scenic Flight" with this company and it was truly outstanding. The route takes you around Mt Cook, over the Fox and Franz Josef Glaciers and then southeast again for a fabulous landing on the upper stretches of the Tasman Glacier. It ranks among the best helicopter/small plane flights I've ever taken, and was my first ski plane landing on snow/ice. Absolutely amazing vistas throughout the flight, and we loved the glacier landing and walkabout. If you are staying in Mt Cook Village the Mt Cook Airport is just a few minutes drive. The Mount Cook Ski Planes & Helicopters staff there are great, and our pilot was an absolute gem. We were also lucky enough to have a beautiful blue-sky morning for our flight, and a dusting of fresh snow everywhere from a couple of days before we arrived. Perfection! If you have traveled from overseas all the way to Mt Cook then I really recommend you take this flight even if you have to cut financial corners elsewhere. It will be a flight of a lifetime for you.

That was a stunningly beautiful, unforgettable experience. Everyone should include this on their bucket list.

An amazing life time experience! Before booking, I have searched a lot and so glad to make this. Here are a couple of things that I wanted to know before my bookings. - 55min grand circle vs 45min ultimate alpine: I did the grand circle (55min) which covers both Mt cook and Franz Josef. Definitely, it was great to have lots of time to see in the sky, but I guess covering Mt cook would be enough. It is difficult to listen pilot's explanation due to engine noise, so not easy to recognize where I am. - Flight company : There are other companies with a little bit of cheaper price. I booked this company because of snow landing and it was perfect choice. It was definitely worthy to try. Landing time was around 10min and I've got plenty of good photos. - Discount : I have booked via bookme website which offers cheaper price depending on the booking date. - Service : My concern was cancellation after reading some reviews. Fortunately, the weather in my flight day was so good (even hot) without worrying for cancellation. All staff and pilot were kind and nice. If your budget allows, highly recommend.

We had originally booked in for the Ultimate Alpine Experience but due to weather conditions, our scheduled flight was unable to happen. Hannah at the check in desk helped us to reschedule onto the Tasman Experience. We flew with our toddler (20 months old) and the staff were helpful and accommodating. The helicopter flight was great. We enjoyed flying over the glacier and the pilot's commentary. Once we landed on the Tasman Glacier, we had about 10 mins to enjoy the view and a quick play in the snow. Thank you for a fun experience!

What an experience! More than I could have hoped for! Our early morning flight was cancelled due to cloud cover, but the amazingly friendly staff did everything they could to get us on a flight during the day, even upgrading us to a glacier landing at no extra cost! Thank you for the incredible experience. 10/10 do recommend

Throughlý enjoyable experience flying to mt cook in the helicopter landing up on the mountain. So peaceful and breathtaking. These guys know what they're doing.

I am still coming back to the real world from my beatiful experience yesterday. I chose their offer for a helicopter landing on the glacier. It so happened that due to cancellations on my chosen flight, they had to move me to a different time slot. There is no point in fussing about it, because they have to make a living in this competitive market. So filling the helicopter is just a must to stay in business. The beauty of the Aoraki Mount Cook Airport is their location at the foot of the Tasmanian Glacier valley right next to the river flowing the glacier water into Lake Tekapo. The Glacier literally is about 10 km (6 miles) away from the airport. There is no waste of time to get to the point of interest, which for me was to fly with a helicopter and land on the glacier. I am a somwhat seasond pilot and have been to and flown in many places on this earth. This is and will always stay as a lifetime experience in my memory. We had blue skies and virtually unliited visibility making this a superb experience. Jason the helicoper pilot is a very nice guy with very good flying skills and makes sure everyone gets satisfied with the experience. I got lucky too, because they upgraded me to do the Heli up and Airplane on Skiers down package as a thank you for my patience. I love the Pilatus PC-6 that they use as aski-plane and the pilot Maurice is very skilled and on the way back he showed us more details of the different mountains on the way down while meandering down back to the airport. In closing I would give a 11/10 for my experience with all the knowledgeable and personable staff that take care of you and keep you posted on what is going on. I see no need to compare my experience with other tours, as each may have their own perks or angles. This was what I was looking for and I can highly recommend their services for those who want to have a real hands on experience packed beautifully into a great experience. They also offer lots of other trips and experiences. I will be back for more next time. Many thanks to the great Inflight Team at the Tekapo Mount Cook airport. Only a good team can provide this kind of service off.

We did the plane/helicopter combo. The experience was one the highlights of our trip to NZ and absolutely worth every penny. A Cessna plane lands on the glacier and you have time to take photos and take in the beautiful scenery. You then get taken back to mt cook airport in a helicopter. The pilots are very experienced and friendly. Highly recommended.

Best experience ever from the ground to the sky and back! Superb customer service. And the tandem masters were great. I've never felt safe doing a scary adventure before but they managed to make me feel comfortable and safe throughout the experience. The best!

We did the ultimate alpine experience, flying in the helicopter and ski plane. Could not recommend this high enough! Amazing to experience the beautiful Tasman valley and glacier from the two different aircraft. Worth every cent.

We booked a 45 min flight experience with these guys and it was a truly unique experience! The trip was a gift for my dad’s 60th (+rest of family) and while on the glacier the amazing team at inflite organised surprise champagne for us to celebrate our dads birthday on top of the glacier. Definitely the highlight of our trip to New Zealand and would easily recommend it to anyone!

It was pleasant experience. Some staff at reception was helpful but not all is helpful and smiley, but it’s okay! Probably a bit too much inquiries from all the tourist. pilot is experienced! We took a nice scenic tour with snow landing. There are different options.

My wife and I did the Ultimate Alpine Experience Combo with INFLITE and it was absolutely incredible! The whole crew was very professional and made us feel safe, right from the start. Getting to fly on a helicopter on the way to the Franz Josef Glacier, then coming back with a ski plane made the experience extra special and provided a different perspective. Highly recommend!

Once in a lifetime experience, awesome skiplane landing at tasman glacier. You get enough time on the top in pristine white glacier for all the photography you want to do while enjoying the beauty of the nature. The weather changes very quickly here, lots of flights gets cancelled everyday. Make sure you get a spare day and/or book morning flight to avoid any inconvenience. We went here in late dec 2019. I am glad, we moved our flight to 11am from 2pm because the flights at 2pm got cancelled due to weather conditions. Changing schedule was easy, i called them and requested them to move us to an earlier flight and they obliged. Prices on bookme site are cheaper, so give it a go. Good luck, i am sure you will cherish this experience throughout your life.

If you come to NZ this is a must. Absolutely an epic trip. Our pilot Pete was very experienced and took us up to one of the highest glaciers in the region and then a fly by tour of Franz Joseph and Tasman. Worth every cent.

I had this amazing experience on New Year Holiday and everything was perfect! Especially, I wanted to thank Richard who guided us on the glacier, dug the holes and made it safe for us to explore inside and answered all my curious questions!

This was a breathtaking way to see Mt cook and glaciers in all there glory. Mark was a awesome pilot who made you feel completely comfortable and safe, showing you the best places and also giving a great commentary about the area. Being up on the top of the glacier on the ice was thrilling!!

Cannot recommend highly enough! I would not hesitate to do another adventure with Inflite. The Glacier Highlights tour was spectacular - we had perfect weather conditions (not a cloud or a hint of wind). Everyone I interacted with from the Inflite team at Mt Cook were lovely - both friendly and helpful. Our pilot was skilled and provided a great commentary - thanks Tom!

Absolutely amazing helicopter flight up on to Tasman Glacier, from the time we arrived at Mt Cook AP we found all the ground crew to be helpful and friendly and our pilot made us fell welcomed and safe and he was very knowledgeable about the whole area and what an area to visit, the views on the way up to NZ largest Glacier then to land there and walk around this frozen wonderland surrounded by snow caped pecks, just a Mesmerizing and Unforgettable Experience of a Life Time.

I took my 10 year old daughter sky diving with Skydive Mt Cook and we had an absolute blast. The team were knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. They did a great job at keeping things relaxed which helped calm our (my) nerves and keep us at ease. I would 100% recommend this company to others and would definitely use them in future should I ever feel the need to throw myself out of a plane again...

These guys were amazing from the first phone call. The tandem guides and pilot were amazing. So reassuring explaining every step. The jump from 13000 ft totally worth it. Views were amazing once I opened my eyes😄

An absolute amazing experience, Morris our pilot was brilliant and explained about the mountains and glaciers as we flew over them. We landed on a glacier and the view was amazing... it truly was an unforgettable experience from the time we arrived to the time we left . It is a must do NZ experience, I can't rate it enough!!!

Wow! We had an experience I never thought I could even get in new zealand. The amazing team put together an unforgettable viewing of one of the most beautiful places in the world. All the staff interactions were first class and very professional. We felt so safe with pilot Pete who was knowledgeable of the glaciers and all things from the rivers to the sky. Would highly recommend this companies great value flights.

It was a sudden decision, we dove past on our way to Wanaka, after driving for 200mtr we decided to check it out for skydive. On reaching, Lily welcomed us and we got into a communication for skydive. Though we were a bit late in schedule we asked if possible to it right now without prior booking. After getting notifications about weather and conditions we were all good to go. Niko my tandem guide, created a great experience, life time memory and moment. Worth stoping by, great team and some mind-blowing views of Mt Cook, twizel and surrounding area. 13000ft was amazing. Thanks team to make it happen.

Great experience.

I had Chris as my guide and Alex as my pilot and they we're both GREAT!!! But Chris was the best guide ever being patient with our group while we took pictures and showing us all the cool spots! I thoroughly enjoyed this tour and Chris was AMAZING! He was so kind and lovely to be around. Not once did he get mad at us for stopping to take pictures and we took ALOT. He also did a great job of keeping us safe and informing us about the glaciers and the area.

We had a spectacular trip with this company. Fortunately our weather was really good, and we were able to book on the day. The front desk people were lovely and helpful on all fronts, and the pilot was very friendly. We did the ski plane which takes off at the airport there, does a loop flight path round mount cook and the west coast, then lands on the Tasman glacier. We had around 10 minutes to walk around, then headed back to the airport.

Superb experience! The check in and preflight briefing was smoothly conducted by very professional and helpful staff. Both the seaplane and helicopter flight gave us great overhead visuals as well as fantastic close up of the glaciers and the mountains. Definitely worth the package price!

Wow! You must do this We did the helicopter and plane combo and it was 100% worth the cost. We landed on the Tasman glacier in the helicopter and returned in the plane, it was an incredible experience and had the most breathtaking views of the surrounding glaciers and mountains. The staff and pilots were very friendly and knowledgeable, I can not recommended doing this enough and has been the highlight of our trip.

What a fantastic experience! Landing on the glazier in the ski plane and seeing virgin snow as far as the eye could see was an experience I won’t forget in a long time. We stepped out into knee high snow and just stood looking around in awe. The pilot was friendly and professional and we felt totally confident that we were in good hands. The flight back in the helicopter was equally impressive. All in all one of the highlights of what has been an incredible trip to New Zealand.

Reece took us up to Mt Cook via helicopter on a rare calm day on the glacier - the sun was shining and you could hear the glacier cracking as the water ran underneath. Being able to walk around on the glacier was an amazing experience. The trip back to Mt Cook airport was via seaplane with Dan (the legend) who managed a smoother landing than Qantas did into Queenstown when we arrived! 45mins is the perfect amount of time, not too long and not too short, to see everything and truly experience something special that may not be around forever (unfortunately). Definitely worth the expense for this experience - don't miss out! If you can only choose the helicopter or the seaplane, suggest the seaplane as you can definitely see more (and try and get the co-pilot seat for an even better view).

The guys at Mount Cook Helicopter and Ski Planes went out of their way to make a dream come true. Despite poor weather, they managed to get us on a flight and up into the mountains.

One of my bucket list and it did not disappoint. All I can say is take me back up! Took the 45 minute helicopter glacier touchdown experience. Shaun our pilot was great, really informative. Thanks guys for one of the best experiences of my life!

An AMAZING experience. You really have to do this if you are in NZ. I drove from Queenstown to Mt Cook airport to do this awesome flight. I was on a small plane first, which landed on a glacier and then for the journey back, I was in a helicopter. Both pilots were brilliant and very knowledgeable. The views are breathtaking. You will not find a better experience!! Highly recommend the 45 minute plane & heli package.

Great experience, amazing... The only thing I would change its the amount of time that you actually stay at the glacier, it would be nice to have another extra 10 minutes to take more pictures! But apart from that, 5 stars experience.

I had a great experience flying onto a Glacier in a fixed wing skiplane. The scenery was spectacular and gives a different appreciation for the Alpine region. These guys are very professional and are very safety conscience. Im speaking as a fixed wing pilot myself.

Awesome flight but...We booked the Ultimate Alpine Experience days in advance. We left Twizel at 7am and when we got there for our 8:30am flight "Sorry your flight not happening due to numbers" - this is after the confirmation email. Would have been nice to been notified the evening before as they would have known no-one else had booked. 2 options were to have two later morning different flights. So we settled for the 11:30am flight so we could still have the Glacier landing. So BE WARNED your booked and paid for flight may not happen or you will be forced to change.

We took the 55 minute scenic flight in a ski plane and landed on Tasman Glacier. It was an experience of a lifetime and we absolutely loved it!! Beautiful scenery and exceptional customer service. Highly recomeneed.

How could we complain when, because our flight was cancelled dur to the weather, we received an upgrade to a heliflight, landing on the Tasman Glacier. At all times we were treated extremely well by the friendly, efficient and helpful staff. And we had a ball, what an experience! So if you are wondering whether to go or not - GO - the views are amazing, the flights were very good, and we learned so much, not just about Mount Cook and surrounds, but also about flying in a helicopter.

We did the heli flight with snow landing. Pilot was great and knew a lot about the areas we flew over. The snow landing was the best! We had as much time as we wanted to on the snow, but you don’t need long there, take some pics and get back to the chopper! Awesome experience and definitely worth doing while in Mount Cook! Also, we were booked in with another company that stuffed us around eih “we don’t have the numbers yet we’ll let you know.” We cancelled that company and rang INFLITE and were on a floght that day!

Amazing flight in the ski plane out to the glacier and helicopter back. The experience of landing on the snow in the ski plane was indescribable. Was initially hard to chose which company was the best to go with, but we are so glad we chose inflite! Was fantastic!!!

What an experience flying through the mountains with awesome views.. n wait, landing on the glacier!!! This is one of those life experiences you'll keep coming back to. Words can't do such an experience justice, highly recommended. Oh and the hospitality offered by the guys especially Pete made it quite something else.. magnificent!

Was hoping to fly from Fox but had to wait. What a magnificent experience flying up through the Tasman Valley with expert pilot Sarah. Landed at the top of Franz Joseph and Fox glaciers then around Mt Cook. Best way to spend an hour.

Great service from the team, and very professional. Our snowplane was cancelled (part of the combo) due to the weather but they organised a helicopter flight and refund with no issues. Scenery was 10/10.

Amazing experience. Great customer service, pilot, and views. They were very accommodating to our family of four (little ones ages 2.5 years, and 7 months).

this is a once in a life time opportunity. the feeling of landing on snow can not be described. the view is breathtaking. truly one of my most memorable experiences. if in the south island is a must do even if on the wrong side of the island it is worth the trip. MUST DO.

This place is actually located at a camp site with a lodge near Mt Cook along the way to the Mt Cook parking lot. It is around 30min drive from Mt Cook village. The helicopter flights are fairly expansive and quite short for the price with around 20min. It will be more economical as well as better for the environment to go for a hike instead.

Love it, beautifull scenery make sure to call in advance for weather reports as it can get quite fast there. Not the first time for is to fly and nothing compares to flying the sounds from Queenstown.

The guys at Mount Cook Helicopter and Ski Planes went out of their way to make a dream come true. Despite poor weather, they managed to get us on a flight and up into the mountains.
