Absolutely wonderful, personal and meaningful experience to be guided through this historical forest on the twilight tour. I felt so connected and grounded with nature and the forest is such a different place during this time. Our guides were so welcoming charismatic and informative. Was a very special walk through a deeply cultural and spiritual place. A must for everyone.

Stunning experience, I can’t even describe it in words. Such an authentic encounter, you can’t leave Hokianga without having done this!! Thanks for everything.

My husband and I went on the Twilight tour. The guide (Mere) was very knowledgable, friendly and helped us understand the deep roots that the trees had within the Mauri culture. We loved seeing the old Kauri trees and experiencing nature at its finest. Mere explained that the tour money goes towards conservation of the beautiful forest and why that is so important for future generations. It was a spiritual and uplifting experience, we would definitely recommend.

We had the pleasure of taking a twilight tour. The guides were informative, cheeky and friendly locals. Not only do they teach you about the trees, forest and area but also about the culture so deeply embedded with there connection to nature. My partner is not a huge fan of nature walks and even he said it was one of the best tours he had in the north island. Could not recommend it enough.

Awesome job. I loved every bit of it. I did the twilight one and it was just beautiful to see it in that light. I went with active adventures and another group. The singing was so beautiful and really added to seriousness of it all. Highly recommended it.

Excellent tour provided by lovely, amazing people! Unfortunately I didn't book the tour, but was lucky to meet them at the Tane Mahuta. Will surely book it next time. Thank you so much for your touching songs!

This is more than a tour, this is an experience, an educational tour that creates emotional ripples. The kind of tour you will be back with your children when they are old enough and I did.
