I would highly recommend staying here. We have stayed several times and impressed every time. Clean, tidy and they go above and beyond to make people happy.

Nice accommodation! The room was clean with all the basic amenities. Just a 2 minute walk to all local restaurants. Our host Daniel was very helpful and guiding us to beautiful places to visit nearby. Will surely come back again.

Very clean and tidy. Family room are very practical. The owners are extremely nice. They took over the motel recently. Everything is there is the room to do your breakfast or have take-away. Owners shared recommendation on where to go for dinner, lend us spades for hot water beach. Last time I had such a nice service it was in 5 stars hotel! Well done and carry on like that.

The hotel was one of the best I have stayed in. The staff were so helpful and catered for all needs. We enjoyed staying there so much our first night we booked a second night. Highly recommend!

Booked into the Albert Number Six Motel in Whitianga fairly last minute through Hotels.com. The room price was the cheapest in Whitianga, and as such I made sure I had lowered my expectations. Motel is very easy to find on the main shopping drag, only moments walk to the beach and directly across the road from a Takeaway shop and a 4 Square which was really handy. The motel complex is painted a really distinctive bright sea blue which made it easy to spot. Check In was very efficient by the nice man at Reception. Room whilst small, was really well appointed with absolutely every you need, and more. Even down to camping chairs for the beach, heaps of cutlery and crockery, plentiful linen ect. Main room had a Queen bed and the small separate room had two single beds. The drain in the shower was blocked and as such flooded the bathroom with water. This was quickly and cheerful remedied by the lovely Chap from Reception who came well after office hours, immediately after I rang him. Very impressed. :) Only gripes are the noise from other guests. The walls seem quite thin, and even the couple talking quietly next door were clearly audible. Also the internet is a bit lousy, but that's the Coromandel in general I think. All in all a good stay, and well recommended for the price which I felt was bang on for the offering. Really hard to fault this place on anything major :) 5 stars for sure

It was such a lovely place to stay. I went a trip to Whitianga with my husband for the long weekend. This motel was super clean and tidy ! It was good price to stay, especially included with breakfast. The manager couple were really friendly and helpful and introduced nice restaurants and cafe around the town. I will definitely stay here next time! Highly recommended!

Wow, blown away by this place... Comfy room, complimentary breakfast, lovely warm shower with good pressure, great wifi connection. Watched some free Netflix in the evenings. Even in the changing weather we were kept comfortable for the whole stay thanks to the heaters and Dyson fan in our room. As if we weren't spoilt enough, Daniel the owner gave us some snacks while we were there. Can't wait to visit again.

Really enjoyed this motel. The rooms are small and simple, but the service and experience made this a thoroughly enjoyable stay. Our family group had a few rooms. Staff were helpful and friendly. They were able to provide a lot of direction around town. Facilities like BBQ, towels for beach etc were good. WI-FI availability was generous. If you're not too attached to a fancy facilities, then this is the place.

Great location in the centre of Whitianga, comfortable and well-equipped rooms, and really friendly, helpful staff who offer plenty of tips and information about things to do. Would definitely recommend!

Quick visit to Whitianga over the weekend and this was the perfect accomodation - a simple set up, everything needed for a short stay. Great location (walking distance to the springs, town centre and even closer to buffalo beach) Daniel was a hospitable host and very helpful.

Best place. The owner is so lovely. Looks after you really well happy to help. He goes above and beyond for his guests. And looks like he really enjoys and is passionate in this line of work. Would recommend this place to anyone.

Great location and very nice service! Rooms are clean and has everything we wanted! The owner is super friendly and helpful too, providing lots of good recommendations! Even provided us shovels for hotwater beach!

We booked a room for 2 adults and 1 child. Upon check-in our host was every friendly and knowledgeable. With it being winter, when we opened the door to our room it was lovely and warm, which was very welcomed considering how cold it was outside. It was a very neat and tidy room, albeit the beds a bit hard for our liking. Otherwise would happily stay here again.

This is a comfortable basic motel. It was clean, moderately quiet (in the off season), had plenty of hot water and suited our needs for two days. It is very central to the main shopping area and also the waterfront. Very pleasant.

Small yes, but very clean we like🤩...owner very friendly(Mr Daniel)good service...lotsa tv channel🥰...if room is bigger & top neighbour quieter will give 5 or even 6...stay overnight guys, try the channel😆👍

Very close to the beach, like 60 steps or so, clean room a little bit old and small in size but in a good location close to the shops. The beach is ok, not one of the best in New Zealand but good enough for a sun tan. Not very clean water, bit murky and a lot of broken sea shells that you can easily cut your foot with. The parking was right in front of the room so very convenient too. In general ok for a night stay.

My wife and I had a great stay. Sam was a great host explaining to us whiti newbies all the spots around town. Was accommodating our whole stay. Great spot close to town, beach , lost springs and ferry. Would recommend and hope to be back soon.

Great motel to stay in! The rooms aren't too cramped compared to other motels, nice and clean and very quiet - had a few people staying in rooms around us but couldnt hear them at all. Lovely staff and adorable cat who I found sitting outside our room. Very spacious shower and great water pressure, with lots of parking room. Thanks! Will hopefully stay another time soon.

Book directly through the website for the best deals - we got a two night for the price of one deal. Friendly staff, room was very clean and lovely touches that you wouldn’t expect from a budget motel like nice tea and coffee, cookies, free wifi and basic breakfast items. Good location walking distance to cafes, restaurants and the lost springs day spa.

The staff were very friendly and gave us a lot of information about the immediate area and all surrounding areas, the rooms were immaculate and the breakfast was substantial. We will definateley be back, great value for money.

Nice cosy rooms and comfortable beds. The Motel has a BBQ area and free washer and dryer. They also provide a small breakfast in the room (toast, milk, butter, marmelade, corn flakes, tea and coffee). Very friendly staff who gave us lots of tipps what to do nearby.

After a long and weary day on the raod we stopped in at this hotel. It was so nice to have a comfy bed and nice bathroom. The whole property was clean and tidy and a happy feel about it. Great service, rates and friendly staff thankyou.

We showed up 4 1/2 hours after the office closed due to Expedia not providing the check in time. I called up the owner, who was in bed at the time, he got out of bed to get us a room - no questions asked. Would've been sleeping in the parking lot otherwise.
