On March 30 th. 2022, our Much Loved and Loyal Fur Baby Jezabelle, crossed Rainbow Bridge to the other side, and will wait Patienly for all her Family to join her one by one. For our Family it was a very sad day, as she showed no signs of pain, however after returning from filling my car, Cecily told me Jezz had started wimpering in pain. We rang our Local vet for advise, but unfortunately it was just after hours. I lay down with Jezz, cuddled her and told her I loved her, and she passed in my arms within 10 minutes. Our Family was told of the news and all arrived. One member had used the Animal Emergency Centre before, and said they were excellent so we took Jezzy to them, and the whole team came out to receive Jezz, and we were all impressed with their caring professional attitude, and kindness shown to us and Jezabelle. The prepared Jezz for final journey, and arranged the Cremation and the return of Jezzys ashes, and the Love and Devotion they all showed us with a beautifully worded sympathy card signed with Love from the whole team overwhelmed me. While reading the Pets Pray within the card, I burst into tears The Animal Emergency Centre, are top Rated by our family. This team really love animals..

Had to have my dog recently in their care and they respected me and my dog to the extreme. Dr Horley and the team thank u. You did all u could with a great outcome. Would not hesitate to take my furbabies there. Professional, caring. You treated us like we were your first patients for the day but it was midnight! 🌙 xx

All of the staff I dealt with were super lovely to me and my cat. Even though they were pretty much at full capacity they found space to see me. They were great at explaining everything to me and very patient with my scared cat. Really helped ease my mind with his treatment plan. I know the mystery around the price of going to emergency can put some people off so I'll share I was charged $220 for his consult & $58 for fluids.

Extremely professional and caring. Along with a really skilled team of vets, I really appreciated no matter how busy they were, they would always give a very detailed update and not rush through this process. Thank you all for looking after our very grumpy cat! We appreciate it from the bottom of our heart.

Our little Roxy spent the final hours of her life in this clinic on Sunday. The staff were professional and, more importantly, compassionate and kind. We couldn’t have asked for more during a very difficult time. Thank you team 🙏🏼

Unfortunately we had to put our pet rat Soma down due to her being elderly and sick, the team made us feel very comfortable and let us know the ins and outs of everything as it was happening, which helped alot. They gave us as much time as we needed to say our goodbyes and were all super supportive during the heart breaking process. A big thank you to everyone who signed our card and sent it to us, we appreciate it alot 💕💕

Our Furbaby stepped on broken glass at the park in the late evening, she was bleeding a lot and she was anxious, confused and was in pain. All the staff were very helpful and handled wound very quickly for Lulu. They delivered problem very clearly and helped me trough the process. Although Lulu was quite aggressive when they were trying to see the wound they dealt with it really professionally. I mean I was really impressed when nurse was very close to got bitten, she acted very calm and even comforted me! Some people in this review said their staff are lack of empathy, but I wouldn’t say that at all! They were being very caring when I got freaked out and scared. I mean it’s emergency vet/ specialist, of course it will be expensive! But totally worth for my precious Lulu. Thanks a lot for the great work!! Really appreciate it!

Thank you so much to the whole team. I was beside myself when my little kitten Oreo was sick from a worming tablet. Right from the first phone call I felt that they took me seriously as well as being kind and compassionate. The vet we saw, Marcus was wonderful and very thorough. He gave me straight up information and dealt with the fact that I was crying and upset. When I called to check up on kitty at midnight the staff gave me a very specific update with how much kitty had eaten and how she'd had some cuddles. I can't ask for better service. Worth every penny (but do recommend anyone reading to get pet insurance so you don't have to worry). Thanks again team x

Fantastic service! Highly recommend. Over the long weekend we to make a trip to an after hours vet as our dog needed to have her leg re-bandaged as she'd managed to get to her stitches. Our normal vet recommended a different place to go to (which is where we went first) and were extremely upset with the level of care we received. This particular vet didn't have any more cones in the size we needed so we had to travel elsewhere. We googled the next closest place which was Animal Emergency Centre. All I can say is that we were blown away with how friendly and caring your team were to us, as we were both exhausted from driving and worrying about our poor dog. We were even offered a drink upon arrival, even though we were only there to purchase a cone. Next time, if we ever need another visit to an after hours vet, we will definitely be coming here!! Thank you!

Last night was one of the worst of our lives. We arrived at the vet with our dying cat, and were treated with care and compassion. They took the cat from us examined him and gave us our options, of which there was really only one. When the time came they moved us into a private room and allowed us some time to say our goodbyes. The vet was very compassionate and caring as he put our darling boy to sleep. And while we paid the bill at the time, they were very clear there was no rush. Our options for the return of our boy were explained and were handeled again with compassion. While i cannot speak for the people who have given 1 star reviews, i can say without a doubt this was not our experience. And i would like to say thank you to the whole team here, you made the worst night of our lives a tiny bit easier.

I was so grateful for the team at the emergency centre last Monday. It was a public holiday, but sadly my 18 year old cat was in distress and needed urgent attention. They were so kind, caring and empathetic with both of us in his final moments. While it was heartbreaking to say goodbye to Sparki, they allowed me time with him before he was euthanised and showed such care and compassion. Highly recommend, thanks so much to the team on board that day.

The team at Animal Emergency Centre were incredibly empathetic, caring & made my last moments with my cat Coco as stress free as possible. If you have a pet emergency - these are the people to bring ur beloved pets to get the best care possible

The front desk staff and the vets here were very sympathetic and helped my partner and I through the process of euthanising our beloved mouse. They made sure to take care of our mouse through his final moments without going through any pain which we are very grateful for. These people should be praised as they do a fantastic job.

We lost our beloved cat Gee during Level 3 lock down. The staff treated him with great care during his final moments. My daughter and I were shown empathy and compassion. A week ago we received a hand written card filled with words of comfort from Nathalee, Ruth, Mandy, Jess, Celia, Dani, Simon, Manuela, Anna, Jay, Sarah and Maqi. My daughters and I were truly touched by this gesture. Thank you so much for the care, compassion and kindness that you have shown us during this sad time in our lives.

Milly dog was a regular here and got to know alot of staff. All the staff were great with her and also very caring. All staff were professional and supportive, I cannot specify names as there were alot of good people working with her. I dont understand the negative comments about the staff, cost and treatment.. I think people are lucky to not have experienced being in ED before as a person as a comparison... keep up the great work AEC!

The vets and front desk reception here are absolutely incredible and I cannot thank them enough for their kind and compassionate expertise. Losing my pet mouse was absolutely devastating for us, but they were able to ensure he passed on with minimal pain. The kindness, empathy and understanding shown at AEC was overwhelming. I would not hesitate to put my trust in the staff here. They know and clearly love animals, and have always shown us patience, kindness, and professionalism, even while working in what must be an extremely stressful environment.

The team here at Mt Alberts 24hr vet are incredibly and deepely caring, for both their animal patients and their families. I was unfortunate to have to bring my rescue cat into their branch on a sunday afternoon after experiencing multiple seizures. He was in bad shape and I was very traumatized by the ordeal. The staff come to our aid with tender words of kindness and comfort. It was soon aparent to myself that I would have to make a very hard decision to have my cat put to sleep to end his suffering. I was so greatful for the chance to be with him and spend his last moments with people who loved him. Staff took extra care in making sure we were aware of the steps as they prepared to put him to sleep. My wee furbabie would have been greatful for the tender hands that petted him as he took his final nap. I will forever be touched by the empathy and heart that these amazing people possess. Highly reccomended during tough times its the little things that count. Many Thanks to you all. Xx

I cannot recommend these vets highly enough the vet went over and beyond to help our dog the entire staff were brilliant with her treating her with love and respect. Thank you girls for making her comfortable. You all rock and the cost was more than reasonable 😍😍

Have nothing but praise for the team here at AEC and the supporting entities .... From reception to the nurses and doctors, they were nothing but professional and empathetic. The love and care they showed for both my wife and I and our Puppy was amazing and even thou our little girl was just too weak to survive the amount of issues she presented - we were cared for through-out the journey. Fantastic service they saved Darwin. I'm so pleased they took us seriously and did all the tests they did. It saved our little man. If it wasn't for them and the Team at the SVG we wouldn't have him with us today.
