Honestly the team here are life savers. Not only did they stay open a bit later for us but they also helped us with forgotten medication. You were so polite and understanding. If I could give more stars I would. A big thankyou from our Dog too, without you she wouldn't be having a great time. 1000 blessings to you all.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Looked after our pooch when he had surgery. Highly recommend. Would of been 5 stars but unfortunately they don't accept American Express anymore.

We had a sick dog and are in a campervan a long way from home. I rang and they fitted us in. They were extremely helpful and kind. We got exceptional service. Can't recommend them enough.

The Halifax team are amazing. They take the best care of my pooch and are always keeping his needs as the driver for any care they provide. Thanks team!

Our cat had a wee turn today and we found these guys to be really compassionate, kind, and professional. They managed to make time to see her, and clearly communicated to us what they had found. They let us know what our options were, explained the benefits of the different options, and were very transparent about the cost involved with each option. I could see she was handled with great care by the staff. So impressed, thank you team. Huge peace of mind knowing she was in good hands.

Very friendly and understanding staff who make you welcome as soon as you step through the door. You can tell that they are real pet lovers. They're always happy to work around your schedule and dealing with them is a breeze. Definitely one of the best vets in Nelson.

The diagnosis (and treatment to a lesser extent) of animal disorders that have no visible symptoms is tricky, but they were right, I switched my kitty to a hypoallergenic diet and she has been fine ever since. They are easy to get a hold of, and will talk to you about your pet without asking a fee up front. It's been money well-spent.

Very helpful. Managed to fit our pet in for a visit right before Christmas and not even locals after we forgot pet medication. Contacted our vet for details. Very busy and still helpful!

I am so impressed with Halifax vet clinic. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the vet knew straight away how to help my cat in best and fastest way possible. They also did a complete check of everything else to make sure there were no other issues. I also appreciated seeing all of his detailed notes to read and take home after the appointment. Thank you for all your help will be recommending to friends.

Hans and all his staff are wonderful and caring with my cats. I have been a client for a number of years with my many cats. They explain things clearly. I seem to visit them regularly. They saved my cat's life recently for which I am extremely thankful*****

Best Vet in town for sure, start from front line staff, nurses and the Vet itself, My Papillon get first class service from them from thoroughly checked up, blood test on site and follow up emails. Great knowledgeable staff, friendly. This clinic has great access to diagnostics, including scans, ct, dental xrays. The vets and the nurses go above and beyond. Highly recommended

We have a lot of pets, foster neonatal and critical orphans and run an animal rescue. These guys treat them all like their own. We have experiened many vets but this is easily the best.

Very happy with the treatment of my dogs and the standard of veterinary care. But I was somewhat disappointed at the poor standard of puppy training when I took my wee Min. Schnauzer in early December 2013. She was set upon and bullied by 2 much larger and older pups and I was told she would get used to it. She was terrified and I took her away. The gentleman in charge appeared to be badly informed regarding puppies and I subsequently never returned.

We have always taken all of our cats to Halifax. They're always so caring and gentle, and knowledgeable. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to others.
