Sadly, Vets on Riverbank are one of the very few that offer 24/7 veterinary services, but thank god they do. Its because they care enough to do so. A rare commodity these days it seems. We had two very elderly cats (they're passed now), but we still have a dog, and on multiple occasions now, when I was attending the clinic (for what turned out to be a trivial matter), the love and care of our pets was given for free. Its nice when this happens.

We have 2 dogs and now a cat also, we used a closer vet for a while but these guys are way better and the price is really reasonable too.

Top notch equine vet service. Margaret's been over for my animals a few times and she's a fantastic vet (and equine dentist). Lucky to have such a professional and capable vet service available for home visits in the Hutt Valley. Nice people too.

Great and thorough service at a reasonable price. Friendly staff who e plain things thoroughly and really seem to care about the animals they work with

A dog attacked our hen Roseanne and I was not holding out too much hope of her surviving. After Dr Mary stapled and stitched Roseanne back together she was optimistic Roseanne would recover. 8 days later Roseanne is doing really well. Thank you for saving our lovely hen.

My cherished elderly dog is only alive because of the skill of the vet , Kate , who operated in an emergency situation. Her expertise , skill and dedication is outstanding. Likewise the other vets Mary and Charlie and nursing and support staff are extremely capable and knowledgeable. I recommend this Vet Practise to anyone who loves their pets and wants the best care available.

Thankyou Kate.... Mia Fraser has bounced back quickly as she usually does after any veterinary treatment.... Thankyou so much for giving her teeth a good going over and removing the problem teeth... I am personally delighted with the non smelly breath from a beautiful dog...She lets me look at her teeth as often as I like....(I dont have to turn my head lol) Is there a toothpaste for dogs?
