H.The hardworking people of the SPCA came and delivered a trap to catch an injured stray on my property, phoned me twice with very thorough updates, and in the end made the most humane decision for the animal, which I wouldn't have been able to afford to do otherwise. Will definitely be supporting when I can, thanks for your wonderful mahi SPCA 🐱😻😻
L.I went to this place for holiday program and it was fun!
j.We have 3 rescue cats from here over the years, in fact we still have them all today. We also had 1 beautiful 17 y/o cat that we brought over from Scotland and had a very happy life here in NZ till the kindest thing we could do was to euthanize him for cancer and kidney failure. The staff were very gentle and caring in his last moments which was appreciated as my wife and i were in bits. We donate to their causes when we can because the work they do alleviates a lot of suffering for animals. Keep up the good work!

S.This is a great place to volunteer & make a difference for animals in need. The SPCA does an amazing job finding the right homes for these animals and caring for them until they do. Please consider donating your time and/or money and definitely adopt if you’re looking for a dog or cat to join your family! There are always a bunch of adorable & lovable rescue dogs available.

R.SPCA hostet our daughter's birthday. The best party ever, according to her. The hosts were great, and lovely to see the thrill and joy in the faces of the children petting the albino rats, pigeon and bunny.

Feeling sad the government no longer support SPCA in caring for the abandoned, lost, stray animals .

N.Great space to meet your next household best friend with friendly staff and volunteers, and great vet service If you aren't picking up or bringing an animal best to park at beginning of drive rather as the access is narrow and can be congested. Oscar and Minnie came from the SPCA and they are thriving.

J.I've been here several times for different reasons, and don't want to go to any other clinic. Staff are great with animals, and were very empathetic and comforting when we had to put our pet down. Also they have community services discounts which is super helpful!

A.First visit for me...my niece had been there before...the cats and kittens were cute and she was so good with them. She didn't think much of the puppies though. Very cool place!

They even allow visitors who have no intention of adopting cats or dogs and encourage playing with the animals.
The centre seems very clean and the staff are incredible friendly and you can see they really do care for the animals.
Would highly recommend coming here if you're an animal lover.

J.I adopted my cat from here almost a decade ago and they’ve looked after his veterinary care ever since. Always friendly and good with him, plus the prices are reasonable and I like knowing I’m still supporting a great cause.
S.Great visit on a weekend with kids, just be prepared to adopt the cuties you will see. Many thanks to all volunteers and staff for keeping the place in good shape. Awesome coffee there too!

m.Special wonderful place...only prob wen visiting last time i drove right past..the signage isn't good at all..it needs to be visible from the road not down the driveway. there's some sort of club sign in the car park and it obscures the spca sign.

A.Perfect setting for speed dating the long awaited companion on 4 legs a pleasurable long-term union. As I was about to place my change into the RSPCA donation box the petrol station attendant asked "don't you have a husband"? No he's been out sourced / redundant. The attendant bowed with a smile "thank you for donation see you again very soon". There are many companions in need of a caring home may it be yours?

A.My friend decided she wanted to host her 10 yr old birthday party and the local Wellington SPCA. When everyone got there we go to train the dogs to make them sit, lye down and get back up and when they did what they were told we pressed this clicky button and then gave them a treat ... it was fun!!! then we got to over look the Rabbits home ... they were adorable!!! and we even got to hold some of the puppies they were soft and squishy. All i can say about the SPCA is i think they are really caring for the animals, the workers there a kind and know lots about animals. 5 STARS
N.Great venue for a team away day. Meeting room facilities and catering were excellent and so nice to be able to visit the puppies during a break! Very highly recommended.

F.I was pleased to see there weren't many lovely furr babies to see, but the ones that were in care had lovely clean areas with plenty of toys water and food and looked happy. Plenty of staff to be seen, permanent and volunteer. Was a great experience.

A.You can play with the dogs and the kittens and the cats and the rabbits. And if you are keen on adopting this is the place to go as well. Go check out the cats. We even had a good time with one of he less social cats. The puppies are real cute. They also have big dogs there too

P.Have just started using their Vet services for our dog, and the two vets seen so far have been excellent, and have both explained things too us so much better than the vet in Miramar. Consultation fees a reasonable and medications don't have the huge markups that other vets have.

B.Got adopted by a super adorable housepanther a little over four years ago one of the best things to ever happen to me. Love Zelda very much and i would gladly go back to the spca. Totally trust them with my cat Zelda any day any time. They are a bunch of softies at the spca.

T.Lots of kittens, cats, puppies and dogs to spend time with, and even rabbits and sometimes other animals too.
I.Took in an injured sparrow. Vet took the time to call us to give an update on how the bird wad doing. Poor fellow didn't make it but they helped the bird avoid prolonged suffering.

S.Came here to adopt our kitten. The adoption lady was very rude and when we asked her to look over said kitten before we took her home she didn't. Kitten ended up having ringworm which the lady would have caught if she checked her over like we asked. However the SPCA Vet have been great with dealing with the ringworm free of charge.
V.This is where our family adopted our cat Minnie. She came in from Masterton SPCA as kitten with a family that left her. Now she is the best cat in the world!

A.The Spca in Wellington is great place to go an adopt a pet. What I love most about Wellington Spca is that you can go and cuddle the cats and dogs for a few hours and then go about your day. No questions asked. No one trying to force an adoption on you. All the staff are wonderful, be it full time or volunteers. What an amazing job they do feeding, cleaning cages and caring for these animals. WELL DONE!
