Great place to holiday. Activities have improved with more being done for the kids and the range of accommodation increasing. This time we camped . Previous 2 visits have been the cabins which were great.

Spacious camping ground right next to the most gorgeous river which is great for swimming I'm told. Haven't tried it myself. Friendly owners, nice staff This is a great place to holiday.

Nice place to stay, facilities are a little dated though. Definitely needs an upgrade. A few kilometers to town so probably a 20 minute walk. Close to bike trails.

Great camp ground and great facilities perfect for the Christmas holiday camping. Had lots of fun playing housie and kids had lots of fun at kids disco. Thanks

We had a tourist cabin and it was great, plenty of room for the family. Spent the afternoon at the river nearby, great relaxing time.

lovely clean camping ground first time we had stayed here but this is where we definitely intend to stay for all our future holidays very peaceful quiet and family friendly awesome holiday

Friendly welcome to our latish arrival. Great sites, dump facilities power n water. Kids loved the playground. Showers and toilets modern, clean and well designed. Pet friendly.🙂

Great place to stay, lots of facilities and even cabins or crib styles available. It has quarters available for teams, with great kitchens attached. Very welcoming and so close to town. That a walk is easy to the Town centre. Very knowledgeable staff with local points of interest. Well worth the stay, and at affordable prices

Loving our stay so much have extended our time here. Visited the local sports shop, got a fishing licence, advice on what to do, and caught first ever trout the next morning, cooked with wild thyme on bbq, delicious.

We had a lovely quiet campsite near the river. The amenities were dated but worked well. They were a bit of an uphill walk but that is good exercise. The proprietor was very friendly and kind. It was fun to watch children and adults playing outdoor games instead of looking at a digital device.

I really like this place and have had really good experiences here. I find the facilities clean and modern. We will be back. Very reasonably priced. Our kids and family love it too. I found the owner very nice and helpful.

Great location by the river. We found a nice hideaway spot to pitch our tent which was very private. Park amenities felt dated

Bit tired, staff are delightfully friendly though. Nothing in the kitchen, bar oven, hob, micro and kettle, so make sure you have stuff. I was on a bike so not too great for me. Location is ok, bit out of town but close to bike or drive.

We really enjoyed the campground - when we came we had plenty of space, enjoyed the different areas we could choose from to pitch our tent, great access to the river for a fun swim on the hot days, plenty of trees and comfortable facilities. The thing which lets the camp down is the staff/owners who are rude, aggressive and very unfriendly. I cannot believe they are not seeing the similar theme in the reviews. This couple are totally in the wrong industry and not suited at all to working with people. Sharing stories with people who have stayed here they all say the same. My advice - come to the campground and enjoy, but stay AWAY from the office.

Awesome facilities... great location

Enjoyed our stay, lots of room for family to run around. Was allowed to choose own site. New facility block awesome. Will definitely stay again.

The park is outdated and feels like the 70s camping. It felt deserted but that was probably due to our timing. This was made up by the friendly lady at the front desk and the playground for the kids (which they had to themselves). Best activity to do in the neighbourhood is cycling!

Had a great time cabin was good only thing I would say is improve the internet - wifi payed for it and it keep cutting out and at one point lost connection for hours next year would definitely be hoping this is fixed and faster speeds and not cutting out

Amazing place to stay. Fantastic staff and very clean. Would highly recommend.

Exelent accommodation and plenty of kitchen equipment definitely worth the cabin price. Only gripe was the power went out a couple times during the stay.

Clean but facilities need up dating

I was satisfied with the accomodation. It was very enjoyable and comfortable and had good access to the bathroom and kitchen facilities. A bonus was having good access to river behind the park. I would recommend this park and I would love to visit again in the near future.

We paid $200 per night for a well presented and tidy 3 bedroom house that could sleep 8. Just within walking distance to Alex township and has access to the river and a playground for the kids

Always a great stay.....can't wait to get back there at Easter 2021

Was clean and tidy great amenities block. Found the lady very helpful even gave us a few low cost family activities in the area thank you will be back again next year

Unfortunately this campsite, with great facilities, has incredibly unfriendly staff. Every interaction with them was difficult. I was planning to come back but after the rude service I will not be.

Pretty good amenities for price but wifi extremely problematic.

Friendly and relaxed. Dated but clean and we enjoyed our brief stay.

I was there asked owner about long term stay in our van and she was lovely. Offered us good price and was really helpfull :) Thank you very much.

Friendly. Tidy. Fairly standard kiwi holiday park. Handy to trail and shops.

Nice friendly staff the room was nice and cosy hand river for a swim or lunch down there and close to alexandra town ship highly recommend the holiday to any traveling down to central Otago thankz to staff for a great time
