A great team of people who were a delight to deal with from our very first meeting through to the successful launch of our new website. We had some very clear and quite challenging objectives in mind and Psychoactive delivered exactly what we were looking for. We thoroughly enjoyed the team’s collaborative approach to problem-solving and the smooth and efficient way they dealt with any concerns or queries we may have had. Feedback on the new website has been overwhelmingly positive and we look forward to working further with Psychoactive as it develops in the future.

Have been meaning to write a positive review for Psychoactive Studios for weeks, but the Ecsplore brand that they helped us launch has been such a success we have not had a chance. Psychoactive understood our market well and were able to create branding the has connected extremely well with our customers. Whats more we were able to continue working smoothly through lock-downs and crazy events of 2022 via video meetings and email. If you need high end branding for a product Psychoactive is as good as it gets.

I’ve worked with the psychoactive team since the studio first started as both a freelancer and creative lead. During that time I had the opportunity to collaborate closely with their talented team at every stage of the process. From lead generation, through to brand strategy, branding, design and development, it was a pleasure working with a group of creative design thinkers truly passionate about what they do. At psychoactive, every project is an avenue to innovate and deliver bespoke solutions that can make a difference for clients and their communities. While working here, we’ve enjoyed collaboration with a variety of organisations and contributors, from education, to conservation, culture and entertainment. The fast paced, close knit work environment always kept me on my toes and helped me grow tremendously as both a person and creative professional.

We have just recently completed a project with the team at Psychoactive and we're thrilled with the final outcome. Upon researching businesses that were able to deliver on our requirements, Psychoactive was a clear front runner from the outset for several reasons; their keen eye for leading edge innovation, and their ability to clearly and simply articulate the requirements of a request such as ours. We considered using a freelancer on Up Work to save on cost, but the time saving and skilled end-to-end management (through Psychoactive) far outweighed the benefit of a small cost saving. Upon committing to Psychoactive, we were greeted with a detailed statement of work which was clearly laid out and easy to understand. Whenever we had any questions, Andrew and his team were prompt to respond to ensure the project remained on track as per agreed timelines. Every deadline was met in advance, along with key deliverables being overachieved. Despite the extremely talented modelling work, communication was Psychoactive's biggest strength which instilled a great level of confidence from the outset. Although we have completed this project, I have no doubt that we'll be working with Psychoactive again shortly which I'm looking forward to.

Earlier this year we approached Psychoactive, a local Wellington company, to support us with our Webflow content management system (CMS) as we were having very specific publishing issues and required external expertise. Psychoactive studios is the way forward in building a unique website. I interned for them for 3 months, as there Technical Artist, working on a WEBGL based website for Hype Entertainment. While working there, I learnt how to put my skills in 3D and programming to the test, by creating a live renderer based website, while also learning the fundamentals of web design. If you are looking for a unique website, drop these guys a email, and they will surely make something outstanding.
