Highly recommend Thrive Pilates! Such a beautiful, light and airy studio with friendly and engaging instructors. When I first started at Thrive I had never been on a reformer machine before but I was surprised at how quickly I felt comfortable, building up strength and confidence. The team with an abundance of care and knowledge structure each class to work with every body and skill level in studio - making the classes easy to follow, a great work out and lots of fun!

I can’t recommend Thrive Petone highly enough! After only a few sessions I felt stronger, my back pain had gone and I was standing taller. The instructors are fun and supportive, and the sessions are challenging but doable. It’s the first time I’ve ever actually enjoyed exercise :-)

I have been going to Thrive Pilates - Petone for about five months or so now, a few times a week, and I love it every time I have gone! My body feels great after, stretched and refreshed. All the instructors I have had, have been kind and good with instructions through each step. To add about one instructor in particular - Fi is beyond amazing, very in-tune with everyone's abilities.

I have thoroughly enjoyed classes at Thrive Petone. As a physio, I was really impressed with the care taken to adapt classes according to the needs of all the people in the room - including being aware of the areas I was keen to work on and my previous sports injuries. The instructors clearly have an in-depth knowledge of the technical principles behind what they are teaching and are able to apply this at a level that is challenging and fun! So great to have this excellent new studio in Petone!

I completely recommend Thrive Pilates to anyone in the Hutt who wants to have a fantastic exercise and health experience. It’s especially useful for people in their 60’s like myself who are not active enough and are stiffening up, weakening and getting puffy from exertion. Fi and her team of incredibly skilled and knowledgeable instructors can quickly take you on a journey towards a feeling of restored youth and vigor via this unique, safe and sophisticated method of exercising. We are lucky to have them in the Hutt.

Really great modern studio in central Petone, it has an amazing feel! The instructor made me feel so welcome for my first class as I had not done it before. Holly really knows her stuff and was so helpful even spending a little extra time with me at the end.

A lovely studio with expert and encouraging teachers. I especially appreciate the attention to detail and modifications for injury. I'm finding it a great combination to build strength, flexibility and alignment for less back pain - great antidote for a desk bound job!

Pilates is an extraordinary thing - you move in ways you never knew you could move, you build strength, you develop flexibility - but it's only as good as the instructor taking you through the moves - the instructors at Thrive are all outstanding, their easy-going and friendly manner concealing the all important attention to detail that is so important to Pilates - they know what they're about, and you and your body will thank them afterwards.
